Licensing.

Chariot Cars hold a Public Carriage Office Licence to act as a private hire vehicle operator in London.

Public Carriage Office LicenceOur operator licence number is 05172/01/01. To see a copy of our certificate, click the image to the right.

All of our drivers also hold their own PCO licences as well as having their car registered with the Public Carriage Office.

Requirements of the PCO licencing system include:

  • Undergo Full Medical
  • Enhanced Criminal Record Checks
  • Local Geographic Knowledge Test

You can find the drivers PCO licence number on our drivers page. Their vehicle licence, a green circular sticker, is displayed on the front passenger side window and rear drivers side window.
